Student Volunteering

We are currently looking for student volunteers who will help the conference organisers run OzCHI 2018. Specifically, we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and reliable MSc or PhD students, who can confidently get the job done, while enjoying and interacting professionally with delegates. No experience is required, though if you've done this before, either for OZCHI or another conference, this will be especially welcome.

All students, regardless of their discipline, are encouraged to apply.

As a volunteer, you will support the committee in running the conference and at the same time you will learn the latest in the field. We will work as a team with other volunteers so you will be able to attend the sessions you like. In return for your collaboration we offer free registration to the main conference, including the welcome reception and the conference dinner. In case if you have already registered for the conference as a student and we select you as a student volunteer then we will refund your conference registration.

SV Commitments:

  • Work at least 20 hours
  • Show up on time to tasks
