Workshop Submissions
OzCHI 2024 invites workshop proposals for full-day and half-day sessions that align with this year’s theme, ‘Beyond Being Human’, and ongoing topics of interest to the OzCHI community. We seek to stimulate debate and shape the future of human-computer interaction (HCI), interaction design, and interactive technologies. Workshops provide a unique platform for scholars, practitioners, and researchers to converge and delve into specific topics in an engaging and collaborative environment.
We are looking for workshops that can attract a broad interdisciplinary audience, encourage participant interaction, and promote community-building within the HCI field. Remote and hybrid attendance will not be offered as part of OzCHI 2024.
Preparing and Submitting Your Workshop Proposal
Step 1: Download the ACM Master Template
- Word and LaTeX users download the template here;
- Please ensure that you use the correct template. The single-column format must be used for the reviewing phase. Using different templates or formats may result in desk rejection.

- Provide a strong rationale for the workshop, describe the issues to be addressed, and state concrete objectives;
