Visas

To find out what visa you need go here.

All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa before travel. Travellers to Australia cannot apply for a visa on arrival, with the exception of New Zealand and Norfolk Island passport holders, who will usually be issued a visa on arrival in Australia provided they meet health and character requirements.

All visitors should apply for a visa six to eight weeks (or at least two weeks for online applications) prior to the intended date of departure, and 4 months prior for people with character or health concerns. Anyone who has travelled to Africa 21 days prior to arriving in Australia may have quarantine requirements due to the Ebola crisis. See this website for more information.

Generally most delegates will fall within one of the below three visa types, however consult the website for details.

eVisitor (subclass 651)
Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601)
Visitor visa (subclass 600)
