Venue



All of the formal activities of the conference are held at Building 5 of the University of Technology, Sydney Haymarket Campus. Building 5 hosts the UTS Library (Building 5A), UTS Law School (Building 5B) and UTS Business School (Building 5C). A map of the venue can be found below. The entrances to Building 5 is via Quay Street.This building is bordered by Quay Street, Ultimo Road, and Darling Drive in the Haymarket area.

The Doctoral Consortium and all workshops will be held in Building 5C (UTS Business School).

Wednesday 3 December – Friday 5 December 2014
The main conference, from Wednesday to Friday, will be held in Building 5B (UTS Law School).

Building 5 at the intersection of Quay St and Ultimo Rd, Haymarket



The Student Volunteers will be housed in Room 2.43 in Building C. However, this room is primarily for storage and refuge.
There will be two ‘registration desks’. On Tuesday 2 December, this will be in the foyer of Building 5C, and will handle the Doctoral Consortium and Workshops. The second desk will operate from Wednesday 3 December to Friday 5 December, in the foyer of Building 5B.
From these desks, all registrations and any other logistical support will be provided. The OzCHI desk will be staffed from 8:00am -5:00pm, Tuesday to Friday.

Name Badges
Badges may be ‘shared’ amongst delegates from one organisation, but all delegates present must wear a valid badge at all times. The badges have been colour coded as follows:

RED dot indicates that the delegate will attend the conference dinner on Thursday 4 December.

Student Volunteers and Organisers
Student Volunteers, the professional conference organisers and the conference organising committee, will be wearing ORANGE badges. Anyone wearing one of these may be asked questions and should be able to help you. The Student Volunteers and the professional conference organisers will also be wearing black t-shirts, sponsored by CSIRO.
Wireless Reception
All UTS staff members and students should already receive wireless access.
If you are affiliated with another university you can access the wireless network
Eduroam.
In addition, we have provided delegates with individual wireless login details to UTS-WPA. You will find the details on the back of your name badge.
No Smoking
There is no smoking in any of the conference or social venues for this conference. Your nearest smoking opportunity is in the external courtyards right outside each foyer in the UTS Haymarket Campus.
Catering
Pre-conference tea / coffee, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided on each day of the conference.
Refreshments and meals will be served in the foyer of Building C on Tuesday, and in the foyer of Building B on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
