Tasmania is widely recognised as having the best sites in Australia for producing premium sparkling wines. With less than 1% of national production, its reputation is for fine quality, elegant wines. The long, cool growing season of Tasmania allows for gradual accumulation of delicate and elegant flavours with retention of natural acidity which ensures that it is one of the premier regions for Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and aromatic whites.
The Josef Chromy Wines Cellar Door is located at Relbia, a 15 minute drive south of Launceston and just 10 minutes from the Launceston Airport.
